AEJuice Premiere Pro Bundle Review & Tutorial
The new AEJuice Adobe Premiere Pro Bundle gives you access to thousands of useful video effects from within a panel in Premiere Pro. Simply download the free extension plugin called the AEJuice Pack Manager 3 and within the panel you can access all the effects.
There’s also a free starter pack, which gives you some free effects from the bundle, and free sound effects. You can download these freebies from within the AEJuice Pack Manager 3 panel.
Also, AeJuice works in more than just Premiere Pro, it works in After Effects also, but you can also buy different versions that are compatible with Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Avid, Sony Vegas, Filmora Pro and Adobe Premiere Rush. These software version packs come as pre-made videos with transparent backgrounds and are not available from within the panel like the Premiere Pro Version.
The Panel: AEJuice Pack Manager 3
All of the packs you purchase from AeJuice are accessible from the AEJuice Pack Manager extension that works in Premiere Pro and After Effects on both a Mac & PC. After you download the extension, go to Window > Extensions > AeJuice Pack Manager 3. From the AEJuice extension you can login into your account and then begin to download the packs you purchased. Once downloaded, all the packs are here, I don’t have to worry about importing them into each project I want to use. Once downloaded they will always be here, saving you a lot of time.
Liquid Elements
One of the most popular packs in this Bundle are the Liquid Elements. Liquid Elements can be used on all types of action shots, music videos, and in commercials to add dynamism to the video. It’s a really easy and fun way to composite animations in any live action video you need to use.
When we open up the Liquid elements pack in the panel you can see right off the bat that there are tons of categories! My favorite categories are, Electricity, Impacts, and Swishes Power. To add an element to your timeline, double click on any element. To customize, just select the element layer that was added to the timeline and go to the Essential Graphics Panel to reposition it, change the color, the strokes, and add a glow.
Sound Effects Pro
To add more dynamism to your liquid elements you can use the Sound Effects Pack that comes in the bundle quickly browse and add sound to your timeline. Just double click on any sound from the panel and it will automatically be placed in your timeline. You can then align the sound to match the movement of the liquid element or any other effect you use from the pack.
Titles
The titles in AEJuice are very well designed motion graphics templates. You’ll find lower thirds, call outs, box titles, and much more. Simple double click to apply to your timeline, select the graphic layer and then use the Essential Graphics Panel to customize the content and colors. My favorite part about the titles is that AEJuice included time remapping of the animation, so you can modify the timing of the in and out animations to fit your video.
Kinetic Titles
The Kinetic Titles are a very unique set of titles, they are referred to as “Poster Titles.” They feature repeating and rotating text that could be great for social ads and for creating interesting musical lyric videos. The Kinetic Titles are also motion graphics templates and can be modified using the Essential Graphics Panel. The Kinetic Titles do take longer to render compared to the standard Titles pack because they are more dynamic and have more effects included.
Seamless Transitions
To tie together two different scenes or shots you can use the Seamless Transitions pack to quickly apply zooms, fades, blurs, splits, shakes, camera clicks, and more. Currently the AEJuice team is working on optimizing the pack to be used directly from the panel, and it will be available soon. Until then, you can download this pack as a set of project files and import them directly into your Project Panel. In the tutorial, I show how you can apply them directly between two clips in your timeline.
You’ll definitely find a use for any situation with this pack. And there are a lot of other elements I didn’t cover in the tutorial, like the Cyberpunk overlays that can be used for scifi purposes or to create visual distortion overlays. The best part is that you have to purchase once and you’ll have forever, no subscription fees, it’s a one time purchase which is a great deal. Also, the panel also works in Adobe After Effects and it has about 10 more products specific to Ae, and you can see all those products in the “I want it all bundle.” Let me know if you have any questions below!
