Top 2019 Black Friday & Cyber Monday Video, Photo, and Audio Deals

There are so many camera deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday that it’s hard to sift through it all. Instead of making a list of un-related top deals, I’ve put together all of the video camera and video editing gear that I currently use. So, if you’re looking to buy new gear for yourself or awesome gifts to your loved ones or friends who work in video this is what I would recommend:

Camera

Sony Alpha a7 III Mirrorless Camera Kit - Save $200 on B&H

This camera can be used as a photo and video camera that can shoot up to 4k 30fps and 1080p in 120fps. So if you need some smooth slow motion, you can shoot in 1080p HD 120fps and time-remap it in Premiere Pro to be smooth as butter.

It also comes with different video shooting modes, such as s-log, s-log2, and HDR. The log filming modes can give you more flexibility in color grading to capture more information in the highlights and shadows of the moving picture.

This kit also comes with a 24-70-mm f/2.8 lens. This is a great starter lens for filming interviews and practicing portrait photography with the f/2.8. It’s not a f/1.4, which creates a better depth of field (you know that blurred out background). But to start, a f/2.8 is much better than an f/4 lens.

The kit includes a 32GB Extreme Pro SanDisk to get started. But you may want to get at least three more 64GB cards if you are going to be shooting at lot — 4k eats up memory fast!

Tripod

Manfrotto Befree Advanced Travel Aluminum Tripod - Save $50 on B&H

This is by far the most portable and durable tripod I’ve used. It folds up in a compact way where it can easily fit in your luggage and it’s durable enough to support up to 17.6 lbs!

Computer

Macbook Pro 13” - Save $200 on B&H

I’m a mac user myself. I currently use a Mac Pro 2013 Trash Can model in my desktop workspace, but I also use a Macbook Pro 15” when I travel. Currently. B&H is have a sale on the Macbook Pro 13”, you can save $200. I’d recommend getting the version with 16GB of ram for more editing power.

Video Editing Tools

Adobe Creative Cloud - All Apps - Save 40%

Obviously, I’m biased towards the Adobe Creative Cloud as it is what I use to edit and create special effects on my Premiere Gal YouTube channel. I find that the software is very intuitive and you can watch my YouTube channel for all types of tutorials to help you edit better!

FilmImpact Transitions - 40% off (Use Code: PGBF40) and if you get here after, use code PREMIEREGAL10 for 10% off.

I use these transitions in almost every video! My favorite transitions are the impact pops and motion tween tools! Here is a video on Motion Tween.

Accusonus Audio FX - 72% off!

Noise remover, de-clipper, voice levelers and more! It’s a great bundle of plugins that will make your dialogue and audio sound so much better. You can check it out here.

Soundstripe Music - 45% off unlimited music & SFX

With a Soundstripe premium membership you can access unlimited music and sfx for all your video content and there are no licensing hiccups. You pay one monthly fee and you can use in any type of project — from personal to commercial projects.

And better yet! They now have a Premiere Pro Panel. You can now search and license music in Premiere Pro. This is how it works:

Stock Video, Photos, Templates

Envato Market - 50% off of 500+ templates

If you need a logo reveal, stock video clips, or anything for that matter, Envato Market has it. One of my favorite packs is the 1000+ seamless transition pack featured in the video below. But you can go Envato’s Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals page here to explore more templates that will help enhance your next video edit.

Now, on to storage.

First, all video makers need to have a strong and durable portable drive that they can take with them on the job and when they travel. Today, there are many options and you really can’t go wrong. But I would strongly recommend a SSD, a Solid State Drive, which runs on flash memory. SSD are much faster than a standard HD, hard-drive which spins on a disk.

LaCie 2TB Portable USB Type-C External SSD - Save $60.00

Up to 540 MB/s Reads & 500 MB/S Writes. In other words, you can edit 4k and edit RAW photos at the same time while also running multiple Adobe applications from it. I work from this Portable SSD on all of my local and current projects.

You can check out all of the B&H video and photo deals here and if you prefer Amazon, here are more camera deals.

Happy Holidays!
