IGTV Cover Photo (Thumbnail) Dimensions - Cheat Sheet & Template
We can now create long-form vertical video content on IGTV, but what about the video thumbnails or as IGTV calls them "cover photos"? Below I've created a title safe area template and all the requirements you should now when designing your cover photo.
Note: The cover photo you choose cannot be edited after upload. So you're stuck with the cover image for good.
IGTV Cover Photo Specs:
- 420 x 654 pixel resolution or a 1:1.55 ratio
- JPEG (only format supported now)
- Must be less than 4MB
